About Me

Hi, I’m Kim, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been on my own healing journey for quite some time. In my thirties while I was in the thick of parenting young children, endurance running became my therapy, my “church” if you will. As challenging and sometimes outright unpleasant as it could be, it was one of the only times my mind would entirely slow down, and I was able to catch sweet little stretches of clarity and peace.

My body was never much a fan of longer mileage, and because I wasn’t balanced muscularly and was quite literally running on an empty tank, injuries ensued. These injuries felt more than just physically debilitating, they also felt like a mental blow. I began practicing yoga as a means to an end. I believed yoga would help me heal my body so that I could go back to doing what I truly loved - running. It took awhile, but yoga eventually worked its magic on me. I became more physically aligned and strong - yes, which did make running much more accessible.

But what I really noticed as I continued to show up, is that the practice of yoga completely transformed my inner landscape as well. My life began to shift and grow in unimaginable ways as I continued my journey. I discovered a deeper sense of myself and the strength to live more authentically. At a certain point, I realized that yoga touched every part of living. I appreciated and held space for everyday beauty in a way that always seemed illusive to me, and I was able to weather some of the most challenging storms in a way I previously did not have the capacity for. Eventually, I was so enamored with how yoga was impacting my life, I decided to become a teacher and share the profound gift with others.

Over the years my practice and approach has evolved quite a bit. I’ve moved from a more vigorous and active movement style, to what feels grounded, nourishing, and constructive in the body. I enjoy teaching public classes, and I especially appreciate working with people one on one - which really allows me to meet you exactly where you happen to be. Yoga is how I approach just about everything and everybody all these years later.

Sound healing found me several years ago and I was deeply impacted by how restored and clear I felt after attending a session. After experiencing the transformative power of sound - especially when coupled with a gentle movement practice, I wanted to incorporate this modality into my own teachings. I offer sound healing in group settings, and I also offer individual sessions with movement, or incorporated as part of a massage.

Massage has always fascinated me and seemed a natural extension of yoga and sound. Hands-on bodywork has the capacity to greatly impact the physical body, as well as the mental state - they are both intertwined, afterall. I have learned to respect and work with what is present in the body - however it might show up on any given day.

It’s truly my honor to have the privilege of doing this work with you. My own life experiences have informed how I approach these practices. But by far the most important element that is layered into each session is YOU.
